Umea University, one of the finest Universities of Sweden and indeed of Europe, has recently signed an MoU with Hislop School of Biotechnology. This is the only pure science faculty with which this MoU has been signed in Central India. The benefits that will accrue to our undergraduate students because of this MoU will be:

• Direct selection to the Umea University International Masters’ programme if you have studied B. Sc. Biotechnology at Hislop School of Biotechnology.

• The Masters’ programme that you will be eligible for are Molecular Biology, Forest Biotechnology, Biochemistry among other life science fields.

• Entire tuition fees for the selected students is waived.

• Exchange of faculty between the two institutions providing better exposure for students.

• Students may also be able to carry out short term projects at Umea.

This benefit is available in Central India only to the students of HSB.
